VACLAV AND JOHANNA TRYNER
Vaclav Tryner, born in 1848, at Bohemia was married in 1878 at Chicago, Illinois, to Johanna Liska who was born in 1851 or 1853 in Bohemia. They came to the Milligan area from Chicago to the Stoy farm southwest of town. They had ten children. The family moved to Odell, Nebraska. They were devout Catholics and attended Milligan Catholic Church regularly. The children attended School District #43. Most of them went only to the fourth grade.
Johanna Tryner passed away in July 1918 at Odell, Nebraska, and was buried at the Catholic Cemetery next to her sister. After her passing, Vaclav lived amongst his children passing away August 17, 1935, in Indiana, where he lived with his son, Bohus Tryner. He was buried in Indiana.
Frank, was born August 19, 1879, at Chicago. He joined the Army during World War 1 and made it his career. He was injured in action during the war and then lived in the Soldiers' Home in Washington D.C., where he died.
Joseph was also born in Chicago on August 7 1881, and died there in August of 1885.
Fronie was born July 21, 1883, in Chicago and married Joe Filip on November 24, 1908, at Milligan's St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in a double wedding with her sister, Mary Anna and Vaclav Svajgr. Joe and Fronie had a daughter, Marie or Mae, and later divorced. Fronie then remarried Frank or Philip Benes and moved to California and they had eight children. She passed away in California in 1970 and is buried there.
James was born September 29. 1885, at the Ohiowa farm and married Carrie Faber. They had three children: James, Helen, and Henry. They lived near Odell, where their 12-year-old daughter, Helen, died, and then moved to Colorado, where he worked in the sugar mill. He died at Greeley, Colorado, December 25, 1978, and is buried in Colorado. His son, James, lived at Loveland, Colorado, and died suddenly, while washing dishes in a café. The other son, Henry, died at the Veteran's Hospital and was cremated.
Anna was born February 21, 1887, at the farm near Ohiowa and died there in March of 1894.
Mary Anna was born February 6, 1888 on the Story farm near Ohiowa, Nebraska. She married Vaclav Svajgr in November 24, 1908 at St. Wenceslause Catholic Church in Milligan, in a double wedding with her sister Fronie. Vaclav and Mary rented the J.C. Synoved farm, east of Milligan. Five of their children were born on this farm. They lived on this farm for ten years then moved to the Joe Ficha farm one mile east of Milligan, where their last child was born. Mary died at the farm home February 12, 1937, at age 49. Mary is buried in the Bohemian National Cemetery.
Bohus (Ben) Tryner was born October 7, 1889, at the Ohiowa farm and was a vagabond. He lived in many places and married and divorced four times. His first wife was Ada Mondeldt and they had a daughter Lenora Tryner. His other wives were Rosella, Frances, and Lucille Carnik. During the summers, Ben worked for Jerry Kupicka on the farm. Ben died in Omaha on January 23, 1960, and is buried there.
Emma was born November 1891 at the Ohiowa farm and married Jerome Davisson, who was working in Omaha. They had two daughters: Lillian Harper of Omaha and Charolotte of Denver, Colorado. Demma died on February 11, 1942, at Omaha and is buried there.
Julia was born August 20, 1896, at the farm near Ohiowa and married Joe Marsh. They owned a meat market in Swanton and they had four children: Anna, Jane, Jim, and Iona. After their divorce, she marred a Mr. Pletcher and they had three children: Mada Belle, Lula Mae, and Bud. Julia died November 18, 1961, at Little River, Kansas, and is buried at McPherson, Kansas.
Albert Tryner was born June 4, 1903, at Odell, Nebraska, and was married and lived near Beatrice, Nebraska, then divorced and married a girl from Thayer County, Nebraska. His whereabouts are unknown, as he changed his name to Arthur Trainer and moved to Montana. His daughter, Sharon Lewis, lives at Toston, Montana.

I place a note on Ancestry.com surname board a few years ago, and Sharon Lewis reply to my posting and passed along
this story and acouple of pictures. The story is from a County book in Nebraska that was pass along to her, she didn't
remember which county or book. I would guess, it would be the Fillmore County as Vaclav and Johanna daughter, Mary Anna and her husband
Vaclav Svajgr has a story of their lifes in the same book.
Not sure how the Tryner name was pronounce or spelled when Vaclus arrived in America about 1878
