Danny Allen Hoskins Sr., 52, of San Andreas died July 4 in Burson.
Mr. Hoskins was a native of Concord and lived in Calaveras County 24 years. He was a handyman for 33 years. He was a former volunteer firefighter for the Burson Fire Department, an Eagle Scout in Troop 333, Concord, and a Scoutmaster of Troop 3353, Valley Springs.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Hoskins of San Andreas; children, Danny Hoskins of Lodi, Johnny Hoskins of Mokelumne Hill and Ronny Hoskins of Stockton; brothers, Jim Tryner of Valley Springs, Kevin Tryner of Klamath Falls, Ore., Vince Tryner of Phoenix and Arnie Tryner Jr. of Columbia City, Ore.; sister, Sandy Porath of Valley Springs; and seven grandchildren.
Services have been held. San Andreas Memorial Chapel in charge of arrangements.

Longtime Calaveras County resident Danny Allen Hoskins Sr. died July 4 from injuries suffered in an accident while working in Burson. He was 52.
He was born in Concord and had lived in Burson since 1982. He worked as a handyman and was an Eagle Scout of Troop No. 333 in Concord, a Scoutmaster of Troop No. 3353 in Valley Springs, and a volunteer firefighter at Burson Fire Department.
Mr. Hoskins is survived by his wife, Brenda Hoskins, of San Andreas; children, Danny Hoskins, of Lodi, Johnny Hoskins, of Mokelumne Hill, and Ronny Hoskins, of Stockton; brothers, Jim Tryner, of Valley Springs, Kevin Tryner, of Klamath Falls, Ore., Vince Tryner, of Phoenix, and Arnie Tryner Jr., of Columbia City, Ore.; a sister, Sandy Porath, of Valley Springs; and seven grandchildren.
Services were held.
